About the Facility

Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility is one of the very important facilities created and provided by Pithampur Auto Cluster under BOOT contract with Re-sustainability Hyderabad. All facilities are developed with an investment of nearly Rs. 100 Crore and follow the international guidelines of a double composite liner landfills with collection arrangements following the RCRA Subtitle C requirement for landfills. Wastes received are either land filled, stabilized followed by landfills or incinerated based upon the characteristics of the waste. All these facilities are in compliance with the laws and guidelines laid by Central Pollution Control Board and Ministry of Environment and Forests.

Project Information

Hazardous Waste Management Project

At the time of implementation of the Project through Pithampur Auto Cluster, the Government of India has not accepted the development of the Hazardous Disposal Facility on BOOT basis. The total amount spent of nearly 100 Crore on the hazardous Waste Disposal site. As the Hazardous Waste work is being executed on BOOT basis and Re-sustainability is also one of the stake holder of Pithampur Auto Cluster.

Environmental Compliance
