• The Government of India, through the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and industry, New Delhi has sanctioned the scheme of Auto Cluster for Pithampur Industrial Area, under Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (IIUS).
  • As directed by the Government of India, the main Auto Units of Pithampur have been joined together for the implementation of the scheme, for this purpose, under Companies Act 1956 an S.P.V. named Pithampur Auto Cluster Ltd. has been formed.
  • According to the above sanctioned Financial Structure of the project, Rs 49.94 crore will be provided by the Government of India as a Grant i.e. 75% of the total cost of infrastructure creation and up-gradation in the cluster. Local stakeholders will provide 15% as capital contribution and the balance contribution will be made by State Governme nt and loan from Financial Institutions.

The Approved Cost of the project is Rs. 65.20 crore as follows:
